Interior   Tips

We at EzPALMS.com want to welcome you to the world of palms & tropical plants.

Caring for your plants is of the utmost importance to us as we have spent approximately 4 to 5 years growing it to get it to you. We simply hope that you will care for it as we have.  Here are a few tips to help you.

1. Watering your plant is most important, just like people without it we would die, and to much will drown it. So water at least every other day, if this a problem then add mulch to it, so watering will be less frequent. If going on vacation we suggest putting a paper cup in the container full of water with a pin hole at the bottom of the cup. Put the cup of water in pot prior to leaving. When watering on your normal maintenance program check to see if the soil is cool, if it is do not water, if it is warm water.

2. Feeding your tree is like watering it, without food the plant will die. We use only the best fertilizers in the world, so you can't over feed the tree. We use a time release fertilizer to insure that your tree is in perfect health this fertilizer last 6 months up to 1 year. For out door plants we use many fast active fertilizers every 3 months, this could be harmful if not done properly. In months  to come we are going to offer the care free kit to help those who have less time to care for their indoor plants and trees to stay feed and watered which could also help those on vacation or business trips.

3. Light is also a need although some of our plants are raised for indoors they will require less lighting. We suggest placing your indoor plants it by a window and your out door plants in full sun, as this will allow them to grow better. You can also rotate your plants from darker to lighter areas will also work if done frequently. We think during warmer months you may want to place your tree in the shade outside if it is a indoor grown plant for 2 or 3 weeks.  This is what all professional interior plant companies do to keep them looking fresh.
We hope this will help in your plant care.
